Our Boat
What should I bring on the boat?
Pack your swimming gear, suncream, a towel, a hat, and bottled water. Towels and light refreshments are offered on board.
Is there shade on the boat?
Yes, our Brig Eagle 8 is equipped with a large bimini sunshade that provides cover during the day. There's plenty of space to relax in the shade, or move to the sun if you prefer. We always aim to keep things comfortable, especially during the warmer hours.
Can we bring our own food and drinks on the boat?
Yes, you're welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks on board. That said, we provide fresh fruit, pastries, and chilled drinks for every trip, and we always recommend great spots for lunch somewhere along the way.
What safety equipment does your boat carry?
All Island Discovery vessels are equipped with life jackets, a First Aid kit and fire extinguisher.
Is there a toilet on the boat?
Yes our Brig Eagle 8 is equipped with a toilet for your comfort and convenience throughout the day.
Can I access WIFI on the boat?
Yes, the Island Discovery boat is equipped with WIFI and USB socket for charging. For your additional comfort and enjoyment, we have an outdoor shower, external table, nathing ladder stand-up paddle board and snorkelling equipment.
If I can't swim can I still come on the tour?
Absolutely. All passengers can wear a life jacket on board the vessel and this will keep you afloat should you need to enter the water. We can pay special attention to your needs getting on and off the boat and you're welcome to visit land during snorkelling and swimming activities.
Are food and drinks included on your tours?
We provide fresh fruit, pastries and chilled drinks onboard every trip. Lunch is not included, but we’ll stop at top-rated waterfront restaurants, where you can enjoy fresh seafood and local specialties. You’re also welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks.

Is lunch included?
No, but we will happily make recommendations for excellent restaurants and secure your reservations, but lunch plans are your decision. You're welcome to bring your own picnic or snacks onboard. It's your day, your way.
How much time do we have to explore Trogir during the tour?
The Trogir, Blue Lagoon & Islands tour allows around an hour in Trogir which is enough time to stroll around the old town, explore the fortress and have a coffee. We are flexible if the group wants to stay a little longer.
How much time do we have to explore Vis during the tour?
The Vis Island tour allows around an hour in Vis Town, which is enough time to stroll around the town, grab a gelato or coffee, and digest your lunch. We are flexible if the group wants to leave a little earlier.
How much time do we have to explore Hvar Old Town during the tour?
The Hvar & Pakleni Islands tour allows around 1 hour 30 minutes in Hvar Old Town, which is enough time to explore the old town and grab a drink or gelato at the end of the tour. We are flexible if the group wants to stay a little longer or leave earlier.
Is a gratuity or tip included in the price?
No, gratuity is not included, and there's absolutely no expectation. If you feel the crew has made your day extra special and you'd like to leave something, it’s always appreciated, but never required.
Are there any age or health restrictions?
For safety reasons, we recommend our tours for guests aged 8 and over. We’re unable to accommodate pregnant guests or those with serious mobility limitations, as the boat is not equipped for wheelchair access or specialised support.

What happens if the weather is not suitable for boating?
In case of bad weather or rough seas, we reserve the right to change itinerary or cancel a tour for the benefit of all passengers. This decision will be made by the skipper. In this case, you have the right to postpone the tour to another day or receive a full refund.
How does a private boat transfer work?
A private boat transfer offers a seamless and exclusive way to travel between coastal destinations. Simply choose your departure and arrival points, and our skipper will handle the rest. Enjoy a direct, comfortable journey with stunning views of the Adriatic, avoiding crowded ferries and long waits.
Can I bring luggage or personal items on board?
Yes! Our boats have ample storage for luggage, including suitcases and carry-ons. If you have oversized items, such as sports equipment or strollers, please let us know in advance so we can ensure the best setup for your comfort.
What happens in the weather is bad on the day of my transfer?
At Island Discovery safety is our top priority. If the weather conditions are unsafe for travel, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer alternative arrangements, including rescheduling or switching to a land transfer if necessary.
